Remote trading prop firms

Also be very wary of these 2 bit bob training courses- cost u a fortune- the old classic maxim still goes "If you can't do it- teach it"

Quote from THECOLONEL:

Prop trading and retail are two different types of trading. The former takes the whole risk- the latter will require a deposit. Also retail will prob try and screw you on exchange fees- and charge you a " desk fee"-also known as " Bums on seats" etc.Steer clear of this sort of operation, used to be profitable- but not anymore- U may as well Spread bet- As thats tax free, with a 2 tick spread on Bunds etc...

I know index arb, some chart patterns and volume breakouts, all high prob trades. Don't know spread bet and Bunds.
I never used a prop firm, only retail. I am taking a look at remote prop for the better leverage.
No training courses. This is done the long, hard way. Then you relax only when price moves up from your entry point. :)

(OK, but, just to be clear).

$200 per month (includes DDE links NYSE Level One date, and monthly exchange fees)... And, is fully rebated if you only trade 200k shares (a very small number relatively).

FWIW,

Don

Oh, sorry then, the one i heard was higher and nonrefundable.
this sounds very fair.

Quote from reid5525:

Do U.S. remote prop firms take overseas traders. Would those overseas traders need to have like a series 7 license when it's required by U.S. traders. Maybe Don Bright can say something about that.

We have traders around the world. Simply follow the same rules. Feel free to PM me.

Don

Name some CBSX firms for example.

WTS for one is CBSX, and its sub groups. There are a bunch of others which are totallly legit BDs. They just can not have traders outside the US.

Other SROs permit but require higher licensing standards.
