Reminds me of chatting with a genuine flat-earther I met on my travels. Regrettably I've encountered more than one. He lived for that moment when he was trapped, it actually energised him but he never escaped using logic, he just wriggled until a day later and would start the same thing again.
I think in the past guys like this were simply told to STFU or leave the village and die.
Whatever the mental problems with those guys, it extends to trumpers also.
The mechanisms that cleansed society of people in a state of error are not in play.

He switches then switches back. All he does is put out some statement when there is pushback and then retreats to his original position. It’s not clever, it’s convenient and there is no accountability.
