I haven't seen much of Crist... but from what I have, he seems a jerk.
They're both jerks. Neither one is a good choice. The reason I went with Scott is that he, at least, has shown some minute frustration with Common Core, even though he hasn't done shit about it. Crist would embrace CC. Crist reminds me - even looks like - the congressman character Burt Reynolds played in Striptease.
Common Core.... what the Dems are doing to public education is a BIG part of what's wrong in America.
Pisses me off... that they always clamor for more tax money to "fix education". But all we get are unbelievably STUPID kids and fatter pensions for educators and administrators.
I say...
1. Dissolve teacher unions and their obscene tax-funded pensions/benefits.
2. Initiate vouchers for ALL public education... attach the voucher to the kid. Wherever he goes, his voucher money goes with him.
3. Let private and charter schools COMPETE for the voucher money. THAT'S the American way. (Well, that what it used to be.)
