I left that unsaid. And, in any case I would have said it quite differently. Certainly, I wouldn't go that far. Not without an audio tape!

The only thing I know for certain is that an offer to work for free would not be the sole criterion for hiring.

Good. Your smarter than i have been giving you credit for. I may have to take back my apology. The hunch alone is where any good investigator, given a dearth of hard evidence, my be forced to start. It doesn't become a delusion until we exhaust all channels of investigation, find nothing, and then conclude there must be a cover-up.

I will say what I have been saying the whole year - until there is something to pin on Trump, you're all whining about Hillary losing the election. You're no better than the Birthers you all disdained so gleefully for Obama's term (rightfully, so, I might add). If something ever comes out (it won't, but if it does), I will happily admit I am in error and you were right.

My guess is that if (when) nothing comes out, you won't fairly accept that there is nothing, but assume a cover up.

Short of the special counsel being hindered from doing his job, I'll accept his conclusion, I don't have the hubris to claim to be a legal expert. Best case for Trump would be not enough proof to carry a case forward, even with reasonable suspicion.

Will you accept Mueller going about unimpeded though?

I've never said otherwise. Justice should always be unimpeded in the search for truth. The problem I have is that it isn't equally applied. If it were, then I'm willing to bet Hillary would have been in jail long ago.
