Sorry to burst your bubble, but the US started falling behind when they took the bible out of public education, not to mention moral decay went nuts.

In 1963 is when they banned the bible from public schools. And then sexually transmitted diseases went up 226%. Violent crimes went up 995%. Unwed birth rates went up 325%. Divorce went up 111%. Unmarried couples living together went up 536%. Child abuse went up 2300%, and illegal drug use went up 6000%.

And how can you blame financial aid to religious schools for the reason the US is falling behind? How long has the US been falling behind and how long has the government been giving money to this school? Of course, I dont expect that you would actually look at the FACTs. As long as its against Christianity, it doesnt need any reference, source or credibility for you, right?

it might surprise you but i am not opposed to having a class on the bible in school. as long as its taught by someone with a secular view. the bullshit presented in the bible can not stand up to educated inquiry. maybe someone like this guy could design a course:
