If your god is real, why is there no irrefutable evidence of its existence?
There are only two types of atheists but there are at least a million (and growing) different types of theists. How can this be, if there is one and only one true God (or collective of true gods)?
Believers can't even agree on what the truth is about god(s) and ID.
Why? Because there's no compelling evidence about gods. So anybody can make up whatever the hell they want to create a new theism. How else to explain Mormonism and Scientology? By extension, how else to explain any religion, however "venerable"? [/B]
Define "God", then we can talk about evidence of existence. And if all you're going to say is that "God" is a great mystery, don't bother. I need specifics in order to talk about evidence of existence.Quote from Index piker:
You failed to answer the question:
What evidence is acceptable to you, (proving God's existence)?
What would it take.?
Quote from killthesunshine:
science is a study of what exists? as contrasted with what does not? is this what you are saying?
irrelevantQuote from kut2k2:
Is that it? Most theists make a lot of post-creation claims about their god(s).
Are you a Deist or do you believe your God continually interacts with the universe? It matters in terms of evidence.
Insults already?Quote from Index piker:

I kept it easy for you because I know your limitations.
Now answer the question if you can.

Don't keep it easy and state your full belief ... IF YOU CAN. Or live with the theory that you're just a gullible believer who'll accept any fairytale that catches his attention and who lashes out when his gullibility is exposed.
Better yet, state your evidence for believing. We all don't believe in lots of things: fire-breathing dragons, man-eating cyclopses, the list is endless. I don't see you asking anybody why they don't believe in those and other things for which there is no evidence, so it follows that you must have evidence for believing in your god. Let's discuss it.
