First of all, it is science (in the form of Sir Isaac Newton) that defined gravity, so to say it has no clue about gravity is pure stupidity.

The closest religion ever came to defining gravity is "what goes up must come down." Newton proved this false by demonstrating that when some things go up far enough, they never come back down. For example, the moon, and now many man-made satellites.

Trying to talk science with most of you ET theists is like trying to discuss Moby Dick with illiterates. You lot can't even handle the Cliff Notes version.

I don't think most people are anti-intellectualism, they are anti-self appointed intellectualism, which is what the left is mostly made off...a bunch of fools in a circle jerk telling each other how smart they are. I will agree we are in a race to the bottom as far as critical thinking goes, but to say one party embraces that philosophy more than the other misses the mark. The fact is that the hardcore left will embrace anything which is wrapped in secularism, and the hardcore right will embrace anything wrapped in traditional religion. Extremists in both parties should be ignored by all thinking people.

Go find me a scientist that will tell you that they understand what gravity is lol. If they understood it they could manipliate it.
