Reliable equities broker for ATS

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a reliable broker for my ATS trading 100,000 shares/day, possibly much more in the future. Besides reliability my priorities are:

* low commissions ( I am presently paying 0.001 and a small percentage of my profit)
* good short list
* lenient on the order execution ratios (IB wouldn't work for me due to their Order execution ration rules. I am not doing anything excessive though.)
* nice API (I am using c# to develop my system)
* decent reputation for keeping money with them
* some leverage provided

Latency is not a priority for me. I am not from the USA so propshops are not the best option for me because they require Series 7. Also I would prefer to trade through an LLC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One I'd check out with that profile would be Lime. They seem to specialize in ATS clients and have more than one way to connect, including FIX.

I think FIX is a good API choice as it's mostly "broker-neutral", although it may involve a bit more effort to get started. But once you've got it in place, it's very robust to situations such as disconnects.
 
Are there any other good options? I was aware of Lime and it would be best if I could shop around and compare several options.

There seem to be quite a few good options if one is going to open the account with $5 million or more. I'd consider Newedge, for instance, or one of the several setups that clear through ML Pro. Below $5 million, I'm not so sure. Unfortunately, I don't know of a lot of options that fall between retail and institutional, as a significant number of clearing firms left the business in recent years.
