REL Order Types

Hi,

Does anyone know if Futures Orders that are REL order type are worked hidden within IBKR or other venue instead of being exposed/worked on an exchange?

I placed REL Order Type in Futures, but the best bid / offer do not seem to reflect my orders. Is there a way to force IBKR to show it to the exchange if so?

"A Relative order is an advanced order type whose price is dynamically derived from a combination of the best bid/ask and a user-defined offset amount. The order is submitted as a limit order and modified according to the pricing logic until it is executed or you cancel the order."
 
Each exchange has its own set of order types available. These are not always the same as the order types which IB makes available to you. IB has a software interface to adapt the order types available to you to the order types that the exchange makes available to IB. So you would have to look up for the futures instrument(s) that you want to trade on which exchange it is being traded, and what order types that exchange allows. This information can be found on IB's website.
