Forget about AAPL. Think about the other tech companies which will disappoint. TXN has lots of rooms to go down. There are lots of overvalued tech stocks to short.
Both stocks pretty much at 52 week highs now. TXN is at a key resistance level but I wouldn't be in a rush to counter the market yet in this sector.
My posted targets were :
TXN - $32, RIMM - $60, INTC - $23
TXN and RIMM pretty much made the targets already and INTC has a slow and steady ascent ongoing with tons of positive news on it. At this point, I'd sell TXN to flat ( recommended at $31.50 ) but I still like the other two.
Meanwhile still tons of bears on here questioning valuations etc and expecting crashes ( although more quietly lately ). Here's the rub though. Some of these technology stocks are undervalued using normal fundamental measures. TXN I agree the rapid rise its moving into a more fully valued situation.
Only now would I consider your TXN viewpoint starts to get some merit due to technical reasons. Its pretty clear if you thought TXN was a short at $26 and a great "can't miss" short at $29 that it might be a real good short at $32 if you believe the market will eventually correct. I'd rather be flat though.
