Regulation SHO Pilot Security List

On May 2, 2005, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will implement a one-year pilot program (Pilot) temporarily suspending the “tick” test of SEC Rule 10a-1, the bid test of NASD Rule 3350, and the price test of any securities exchange for short sales in a list of designated securities (Pilot Securities).

does that mean that the securities on this pilot list are not subject to the "uptick" rule?

Does anyone have any info on reg sho test pilot? It is supposed to cease april 1st 2006 I believe. At this time it is my understanding that all stocks will go sho (no uptick rule) or everything will return back to how stocks were before.

I have been hearing that all NYSE stocks will be included in the current list of SHO stocks come april 1st when the test pilot ends. (meaning no uptick rule on any NYSE stock) I can't confirm this for sure but heard it from a couple people who own prop trading firms..
