That's "conscience". Same word, different meaning. Anyway, where do reasoning and a conscience come from since God didn't create them? Scientific evidence please. You atheists are getting grilled and can't handle the TRUTH.

Nice one Tripack..(do you actually READ any of the posts on these threads?) You've given ANOTHER great example of what would reasonably be called a momentous event in history - the Jews being slaves in Egypt - for which there is NO EVIDENCE. (at least the bible's consistent...*snicker*)
Kinda makes the rest of your post a waste of space, doesn't it...

there doesn't HAVE TO be a purpose, does there? why does everyone assume that there simply somehow must be some grand purpose for us being here. I, too, would like to think there is. But if there isn't - SO WHAT! We - mankind - can invent it.
Beyond the propagation of the species - which is "life's" goal - I submit that man's happiness is his highest pursuit. His highest goal in life. You and others may dispute it, but look at the actions you take on a daily basis; are they not all geared to bringing you either more pleasure or less pain? Of course they are.

The bible is proof enough for me. I don't need any additional proof or evidence. I start with the premise that the bible contains a record of actual events that took place. I guess if you come at the issue with the idea that that nothing in the bible actually happened unless you find some physical evidence then you think anyone who says otherwise is naive. I have to ask you, do you doubt everything unless you have evidence or does this only apply to religion?
