But I think this thread is actually a great one...and it was intended to be just a goof. I think a lot has been said here that provokes real thought.

Additionally, I have achieved a real "miracle". By getting this started, we have seen that GG can really post his thoughts and not just "LOL" or "Hahahaha". GG, I am glad to see you express yourself!!

And Dark, you I am rather upset with. You used the word "defile" before I ever got a chance. A truly great word. It is one of those written and not normally spoken words...like "chortle" for example. You stole my thunder!!!!

you're one of my favorite people here. i really do not want to get in a war with you. you make a lot of good points and i have no doubt you're an intelligent being.

that said, i think you and many other people are so flawed when it comes down to religion. i know a lot of people who are smart, even when it comes to science..but they still have one big inconsistency -- religion. i know not everyone who is religious was brought up to be by their parents, BUT THAT IS THE CASE FOR MANY. if that is the case for you, BAM! there's the answer. if you were my kid and i raised you from day one telling you the color pink was blue, you'd probably think it was too. lol bad analogy, yes.

moving on.... i take it you didn't really like my after death answer, but i can actually see why. i really just don't feel like explaining my view of the universe in a few minutes on a message board.....JUST AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! so i will grant you that my argument may not be complete. but just keep in mind, i could continue it.

one more thing, i know you started a quantum questions thread...so you're probably into some of the same stuff as me. the universe is one of my favorite things to think about. another fascinating concept is of time itself........but i'll save that for another rainy day.

bottom line for me is....i know i'm acting like a jerk right now, but i just do it to ruffle feathers... to all of u religious people, you get no hatred from me. think as you will, but let me think as i will also. and darkhorse, you're great, keep up the good work!
