Refco - $4/RT. Anyone use em?

Quote from Nana Trader:

But majority here agree that it's much more reliable than
TWS from IB. Then this makes TWS crapiest crap.

J-trader usually charged $0.50 per side into the commision fee.
I believe most brokerage pay much less $0.50 per side for
offering it

Nana, you never used IB and have no basis for your inaccurate statement.

Check out TransAct Futures.com. Emini $3.42 r/t t-bond $1.86r/t. These are all in. There is no platform fee. There is a monthly commission of $400/month based on the TransAct commission of $.55/side. We offer connectivity to the CBOT, Chgo Merc, Eurex, Eurex U.S. and in July LIFFE for no additional charges. The trading platform was designed for our proprietary traders who trade up to 100,000 contracts/day on it. It is fast, reliable and stable. Give me a call and I'll set u up with a simulation demo. I am using both J-trader and TWS, both of which are good enough for me. I am a swing trader, maybe they are good enough for scalpers.
The next version: TradeMark is coming out of PATS, should be available by year end. Refco is the only major broker that has adopted EasySreen(Refco Pro), it would gain more market if it's real good. Things are going to change in the near future.
Please note J-trader is base on Java, Easysreen is based on .net. What is Transact Future based upon?

Quote from FX-Trader:

Yes, J_Trader is based on the pretty outdated MS Java.

They should have done the migration to MS .NET long ago ...

Can some comment how Refco Pro compares with X-trader?
Is X-trader is the best out there?

Trading with X-trader for two markets at a time with VF,
can cost you around 2.65$ for doing 500 round turns, does
it worth paying extra 0.40$ per side with this volume trading
on X-trader?

Great, where can I download account forms and get wire instructions ? What is your account minimum ? Maybe I will open a "test account" with TA.
