Reddit's valuation doubled to $6 billion in a new funding round that came as the online-community platform garnered attention from its role in the WallStreetBets/Gamestop frenzy. Ironic if they took the chance to raise the capital due GME, but GME themselfs haven't. (couldn't ?)

The time for a company to raise capital (aka sell stock to new FOMO suckers) is when valuations are high. Sometimes works out for the late buyers, but not always.
