red wine

I havent seen or heard anything about these being in the same league as red wine but I would do a search if you are really interested. My suggestion is to buy a $20-$25 Napa Cab and enjoy it over 2-3 days.

I like fortified port wine and sherry which is also fortified. Will they give some health benefits? Thanks

Personally - and I am no doctor. :0

Anything that relieves stress and worry is health giving and alcohol in any moderation and any form will probably do the trick if it works for you. (Personally - go for the true portuguese port. ;))

If you like it indulge.
just eat it with some Cheese for the calcium and strong bones, some fruit (to cleanse the palette) and fiber, nuts (for protein??) and mix it with a good dose of some friends for the memories. Maybe throw in some prosciutto and figs with honey.

Best health advice you will get.....and if a bus hits you it was not because of the good things in life.

That could be the next multi-million dollar diet craze.

1. You can squirt compressed nitrogen into an open bottle to replace air/oxygen, then re-cork quickly. Should be available from liquor store or online.

2. Boxed wine. The bag inside collapses and doesn't allow oxygen to enter. Box instructions say, "for fresh taste, consume within 3-4 weeks of opening" (I have no wine palate myself, but my former next door neighbor is a sommelier, and she says some of the box wines are very good. I serve some at neighborhood parties. MUCH more convenient than bottles.)

Never realized the benefits of the box-o-wine. Thanks!
