Census Bureau
Table 24 and Table 26 tells ya the real reason why people leave states. If taxes were such a major reason or even remotely related to why people move, the census bureau would've created that box.
LOL./..oh yeah, the census would no doubt put that on there, because the government is all about relevancy.
Make shit up, eh?

In fact, most of the top-10 states people are leaving are located in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, including Illinois (60%), New York (58%), Michigan (58%), Maine (56%), Connecticut (56%) and Wisconsin (55%).
It doesn't mention NJ in that text, but they're number 1.

About 100,000 more people moved away from California in 2011 than relocated to the Golden State, according to the latest report from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The trend can be explained, in part, in monetary terms. Even in an economic boom, the cost of living in California has increased, prompting people to move out, and, in recent years, unemployment in the state has skyrocketed.
So, where are these former Californians going?
The Census Bureau calculates that the most popular destination is Texas (58,992), a state that is luring California companies. Thatâs followed by Arizona (49,635), Nevada (40,114), Washington (38,421) and Oregon (34,214).
Texas - no state income tax.
Arizona - 4.54 max income tax rate to California's 13.3.
Nevada - no state income tax.
Washington - no state income tax.
Oregon is the only surprise, but I guess some moonbats can't leave the west coast, but still want a slightly lower rate.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it, moonbat. Oh wait, isn't smoking illegal in california yet? Or is that just cigarettes, but not pot?
