Baby boomers not going out to eat as much, most have realized the crap served takes years off.

I have stopped all fast food and Starbucks to boot. Have no idea what is in hamburgers any more.

This is a global trend there's a Youtube channel that does features on the UK's empty shops- a sort of shopocalypse. London is full to overflowing with dumb eating places and coffee shops that failed everywhere else. Online business meanwhile are booming and if I order something(non-food) it arrives within a day.

the restaurants failed began during the pandemic. my go-to chinese restaurant with 800-seats in chinatown closed in 2021. i read their rent wasn't bad because the restaurant owner also owns the building.
