Recommendations for Vancouver Prop Firms/Remote Trading in Vancouver

Hello All,

I'm brand new to Elitetrader. Got interested in day trading US equities last April, started up a demo and practiced till October before going live. Mixed results until I blew up my small account. Forced myself back on demo since then and have been seeing steady improvements in results now. Still little up and down but more green then red now.

Long story short, I was waiting on an opportunity but I think it might be gone so I am looking to see if there were any prop firms that I could trade with. I don't really want to trade alone as a retail trader and would love to have a support group to trade with and learn more.

I read about Bright and also Swift and Title but reviews were quite mixed. I've already read through all the Vancouver prop firm posts but most of them seemed a little dated. Are there any prop firms that I would be able to fit under? If not are there any trading support groups?

There are a couple of traders meetups in Vancity but you will find most cater to the social aspect of it. Swift is still around, google Chang Trading in Richmond. I assume you did your homework on Swift vs Bright's model.
 
I've read up a bunch of info on Bright. They are interesting but I'm not sure if I want to drop more money on the courses right after I took courses already on basic TA. Swift I can't find more information on, it keeps directing me to this weird "Day Trade the World" site.

I'm trying to search up information about Chang Trading but not getting anything other then the office location. Would you happen to have more info?

Orbixa is located at 7080 river road. second floor, look for a sign on the door that says Chang trading. There's also a place in richmond called Ser Man traders. Not a prop shop though from my understanding it's more of a place to get education. The 2 guys that run it can trade though. They have a small trading floor that's probably more up your alley.
 
Thanks for the info. I've read up on Ser Man and it seems like they focus on swing trading more than day trading. Would you happen to know what the Chang trading trading environment is like?

Day trading but very limited selection of etfs to start and you need to progress through the levels to get access to more etfs. Dont know if you can trade individual stocks.
