Recommend a good monitor

i got 2x Dell 24inch lcds a couple of years ago. 1920x1200 rez and excellent quality. a bit more expensive but very very good

Checking out prices on ebay it seems you can get a 2007 for $180 used and the resolution is 1600x1200, where else the 2005 is 1680x1050. Again I'm no tech expert so maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in, what's the better resolution?

The 2007fp is a regular 4:3 format while the 2005fpw is 16:10 widescreen format.

Have you looked at that thread? Maybe work out a deal with the guy?

Dells are good. I probably have 50 Dell monitors here. So far, maybe 2 failed under warranty, 1 out of warranty in last 5-6 years.

Most bought new. Some refurbished but I couldn't tell.
