Canada posted a 0.6% growth in GDP in January, the largest such gain since 2013 ( and fourth positive month in a row ). Most Canadian analysts were happy with the breadth of the improvement. This would tend to suggest that the frequent obsessions with recessions coming soon in North America on here are greatly exaggerated at this point. Remember, this includes the stagnant Oil sector in Alberta, which is a drag on the numbers.
