Recent Issues with Chrome?

Not sure if it's me, the site or Chrome but I'd guess the Chrome.

Chrome is freezing and locking up pretty badly recently. Usually only on longer threads with embedded links or videos or pictures.

I've had similar issues on other sites for the past 2-3 weeks so I think it's Chrome not ET but just generally wanted to put it out there.

No issues with IE9.
 
Chrome has been giving me problems as well. About 3 weeks ago, I reverted back to using Safari and everything has been smooth since.
 
Same chrome problems the last 3 days. Freezing when loading threads with imbedded pictures.

Personally I wish they would either stop the incessant updates to Chrome that fracture it, or allow you to turn them off completely once you have a stable version.

Back to using firefox with no problems.
 
I've had problems with Chrome lately mostly related to pages that have embedded flash video. Some of the flash content on my own web page loads but doesn't play even though the player scroll bar moves across the player as though it was playing.
 
Has this cleared up for anyone? Tried loading latest flash, removing chrome, rebooting and reinstalling. I still have the hangs/lock ups running XP pro.
