Reasons to be bullish

The bulls need to be careful. Carl Swenlin believes there will be a correction. I think we'll revisit recent highs (1035 or so on the S&P), then go down. I think the coming week will end down.

I think the new Japanese govt is major bull signal...

There is no such thing as buy and hold, the next 10 years will be flat to down, any returns you can grab on a daily or weekly basis should be taken. In my opinion you will be able to buy stocks at s&p 1000 today and s&p 1000 5-10 years from now. Stocks arent going to zoom higher like they have for the next decade. There isnt any earnings growth at the time being, cost cutting and laying off employees to meet your bottom line will only sustain itself for a few quarters after that growth has to come from somewhere and I highly doubt the consumer is going to come back and spend like they did just 2 years ago.

All the talking heads saying the bottom is in and that the recession is over will be completely wrong, this is a bear market rally. Back down the markets will go in due time.

So in August 2009, this S2007S guy said that US markets would be "flat to down" for "the next 10 years".
Have to believe he hasn't made a cent from trading since and lost a lot of money if he trades his ideas.

Over time my contentions about this board have been proven in spades. I find it amusing you still don't understand this, but I am not surprised. I claimed that Atticus would continue to piss off people, that Grand_Super_Cycle was a complete fraud, and that the collection of perma bear posters that insisted on dominating this site would be owned by the US markets. I also noted that the level of bigotry and outright racism on one section was distasteful and immoral.

So what occurred ? Almost every last permabear on here finally got fed up with being wrong all the time and stopped nonstop posting ( except a couple have decided to return now after 5 years of rising markets to apparently renew the battle and conspiracy theories ). Grand_Super_Cycle and Atticus wore out their welcome. The P&R forum remains a cesspool of ignorance and bigotry, but that may explain partially in my opinion why overall site use is down a ton since a few years ago. The site owner obviously disagrees. I rarely post because I recognize the site for the circus it is, that serious trading discussions can't compete with the loons on here predicting Dow at 2500 and secret PPT teams propping up the markets.

I am not surprised that you are more interested in the drummed up drama then the fact I forecast markets far better then most on here since 2009. Deflecting from reality is all part of the circus, and I see you still play games in the P&R section suggesting you aren't exactly the kind of person I care a whole lot about.
