Realized P&L in IB executions window

Anybody else watch this column? I can't figure out how it's calculating that figure much of the time. I just went from flat to long a stock and it showed negative numbers. Then I sold the stock back to flat and nothing showed in the column.
Other times, it works as I'd expect it to.

I couldn't find an explanation in the TWS docs. Anybody have an idea.

IB P&L is definitely flawed and miscalculated. Click on

PS: Even though it is said realized P&L ignores commission and fees , but the value is still miscalculated. There must be some bugs in the formula or TWS.
