Because it is the saga of success. Being successful. Its the male thing.

Poor boy becomes rich boy. Or not so poor boy becomes a lot richer.

And with success all the goodies .. riding in style in a limousine, the hot chick, the very smart apartment, rubbing shoulders with other the top bracket people, and on and on ...

Old news .. never; its always new to seekers and stays new to those making it or who have made it because they like to relive their success.
