Quote from lurefo:
...I might be wrong but it seems to me you give the OP so much credit because you own a trading website/chatroom yourself, so you probably know what growing a customer base is - which is fine when it's straightforward. But maybe that affects your objectivity here.
You may want to highlight the issue I raised that the OP thread is
flawed in comparison to journals in the Journal section.
In fact, I highly recommend that you review some of the highlighted journals (trade diaries) in my prior message that I consider to be good trade journals that contain broker statements, brief market commentaries et cetera that this journal does not have.
--------
Another way to put it...signal call trade journals like this attracts the worst that ET can offer. In contrast, trade diaries like those in the journal section tend to attract the best that ET can offer (folks being polite, professional, helpful, sharing et cetera) considering they give ET members what they ask for.
Further, I'm
not a fan of journals like this journal and my posting history here at ET has a few commentaries about such concerning signal calls. Just as important, I don't need to be unprofessional and start mudslinging with personal attacks with signal callers to express my views about their journals.
--------
Therefore, for you to suggest I'm giving the OP
"so much credit" is either a sign that you lack good reading skills (not a personal attack) or a sign that my English is very poor...
I will assume my English was poor.
Simply, to be more direct if you're still having problems in understanding me.
This thread is poorly setup. (bold letters so that the point isn't overlooked). However, the OP can
easily fix such via starting his thread a new in the journal section via including verification info, brief personal commentaries about the trading day along with responding with brief basic concepts about his trade method without revealing any in-depth details about the method if ever questioned about the method.
ET History - signal call journals rarely last even if there was no mudslinging. Thus, if you don't like them like me because you prefer trade diaries instead of signal calling journals...just let evolution do its thing.
All of the above you can verify via reviewing the links of good "trade diaries" via the links I've posted in my reply to the OP of this thread.
Hopefully, my english is clear now that I'm not giving the OP "so much credit" when in fact I'm giving him recommendation on what needs to be done (if he's interested in building a readership) to have similar like "trade diary" as the others.
By the way, Baron and Joe have specifically stated over the years that there's NOTHING WRONG with ET members being vendors as long as they don't promote their services here as a none sponsor.
So far, the OP has
not done that and when/if he does...he should be reported immediately. Baron and Joe usually respond via a quick BAN as soon as they receive complaints with verification. However, if he is a vendor or has plans to be a vendor in the futures, that's cool as long as he doesn't promote/advertise and continue freely sharing regardless if the free info is good or bad.
The last statement above was taken out of Baron's own commentary a few years back.
P.S. In this signal calling journal...so far...there's no solicitation, no promotion, no advertising, no links to fee-base service, no asking others to send email addresses, no "if you want to know more please contact me" statements, no promotion of another vendor et cetera as a few journals in the journal section have recently done (journals I have not highlighted in my prior message.
If you disagree and a better use of your time & energy...please contact Baron @
