Real selloff or we go higher in Santa rally?

Hard to take a spot against a strong seasonal.

I am actually waiting for the end of this bull market. But, i think this is just a mild swoon for what has been a premature Santa rally due to the October dip.

Maybe those consecutive days above the 5 day MA, a new record, is the blow off top. That stat is press data mining, though.

I think the top is in when Ninjatrader releases version 8. : )

Yes, this is the real thing. Santa is covering his longs. Taking on shorts will occur on the rally that noobies will all pile in.

I usually look at the small caps. They have made no new highs for about 6 months. So my guess is that we are done.

For monday i think i may go for a slightly long bias since we've had 3 down days in a row.

Yet, small caps have not turned down harder than the Dow on this downturn. The market is still anticipating the January effect.

December is the best month by far so the odds are for a rally by year's end.

Don't forget that when the year ends in 5 the markets are guaranteed to trade higher....
