Real Nasdaq Level Ii, Fake Nasdaq Level Ii?????

If "fake" quotes existed in this day and age, this would have been tackled by Barney Frank and a dozen subcommittees in DC. Just think about it for a minute.

Are "games" still being played? Absolutely. But as one poster said earlier...hit or take one of those "fake" markets....it's there!
 
When I said fake bids and asks, I meant manipulated bids and asks.

Maybe the old experienced trader was lying to me, who knows. but I have no idea why he was lying if that is the case. No incentive that I can see.
