Although I had some preliminary discussion with APEX to act as administrator, it is one of the issues that need to be discussed with the potential partners and get their opinions.

APEX seems to be a good choice for small and startup funds.

No one will invest with you without at least having the bare minimum infrastructure and track record via an administrator.

So if I understand well wmu, you want the investor to both seed your unconclusive track record (nearly all the value seems to come from the last year) on a strategy that pretty much everyone is doing already (it doesn't seem much different from what most quant managers do) and build your asset management business at the same time.

So what exactly do you contribute in this? Why would you get a share of the pie?

Also, why is the live track record in saudi arabia? Why not in the US? From what I see, the performance since Nov 2006 would have been negative in the US over that period, mostly because of the value stocks that took a hit...

And on top of that, you will probably get lots of questions as to how the US backtest was performed, and how the strategy was built. People will discount backtests a lot, or even ignore them totally.
