Reading an ELD in TS2000i

I am trying to write EL code to perform a task in 2000i using the GlobalVariable.DLL.

I have an ELD file which contains the code I need.

Does anyone know of a way in which the contents of an ELD can be read as text without having access to TS8?

Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Let us know if you ever succeed in using functions in TS2000i that were introduced after TS2000i. Like to know how it can be done.

(As far as I know the GlobalVariable.dll does not work with TS2000i)

It works, its just a question of writing the code - at which I'm hopeless.

I don't want to use new functions, just to save myself the aggro of re-inventing the wheel by writing code that's all been done before.

Just don't know how to get the text from an ELD without having TS8.
