Well, that didn't take long now did it? Schools locking the doors just as I predicted. They never were going to open to begin with. The argument will of course be things changed. Yeah, it 30 days we went from schools will be open for sure to nope, can't do it. But go get that vaccine, it'll free up everything. Sure it will. The goon squad loves the rule by decree power trip and they ain't gonna give it up, EVER. A "health crisis" is the new norm and permanent way of life from this point forward. Rolling lockdowns are with us forever, to be used at their every whim
The best way to keep schools open for in-school learning is to require masks.
I will note that every single school system that has shutdown in under a week while trying to re-open for fall semester had one thing in common - they did not required masks. As noted in recent posts in this thread — all were overwhelmed in under a week & shut down. I will note that none of these school systems were unionized either.
So either - mask up and stay open. Or don’t and get forced to remote immediately.
