Quote from The Expert:

You have rightly described what happens to most in the "Education System", and it is unlikely to change in the very near, and far, future

There is ONE main reason why you changed what you had, and, it is also one of the main things that is required in order to make some GOOD money trading the markets.

What is it?

Are we going to get to the point here or it will be another 100+ pages thread for entertainment.
What's been sad so far are only obvious and logical things which are necessary in trading.

However, all those things aren’t going to bring trader to the average of 2-5% daily profit.

Are we getting to the point on how to reverse your thinking or what exactly can be seen using 2 eyes and 1 monitor to get to the numbers that only a few can achieve using half of the brain?

:D :D :D

NY and I had an argument over a Socratic Dialogue, namely, one called "ION".

"ION", is a SD about Inspiration, and, how someone can blindly follow another person without first questioning what "ART" the person actually has, in this case it is Ion (a rhapsode) praising Homer ( a poet) - this interpretation is adequate for this discussion, but if you want to get a more detailed "analysis" :D , and learn about the "muse", then a google search will keep you reading for a night.

So, my argument with NY was about "Inspiration".

NY argues as above, and, how one must not blindly follow another person, no matter who that person is, and, true "ART" is more than just mimicking what others do.

TE, on the other hand, argues that "Inspiration" is a must for one to succeed at the trading game, and, if one is not "Inspired" then one will get nowhere, as, one needs to have something to look up to and strive towards in order to achieve set goals.

Surely, something is not right here, as, both sound logical and reasonable, yet, we all know of the many Ion's that are all around us, and the many Homer's who happily rant and rave, and, we also know of the "person" that we want to be like, as, our Mother and Father always spoke well of this person's Son and that person's Daughter!

What could be wrong:confused:

INTRODUCTION

THIS BOOK is having the paradoxical destiny of becoming more timely while it grows
older. Since its publication, its significance has increased continually. For the value of
ideas, as of all things, is relative. It augments or decreases according to our state of
mind. Under the pressure of the events that agitate Europe, Asia, and America, our
mental attitude has progressively changed. We are beginning to understand the meaning
of the crisis. We know that it does not consist simply in the cyclic recurrence of
economic disorders. That neither prosperity nor war will solve the problems of modern
society. Like sheep at the approach of a storm, civilized humanity vaguely feels the
presence of danger. And we are driven by anxiety toward the ideas that deal with the
mystery of our ills.
This book originated from the observation of a simple fact--the high development of
the sciences of inanimate matter, and our ignorance of life. Mechanics, chemistry, and
physics have progressed much more rapidly than physiology, psychology, and
sociology. Man has gained the mastery of the material world before knowing himself.
Thus, modern society has been built at random, according to the chance of scientific
discoveries and to the fancy of ideologies, without regard for the laws of our body and
soul. We have been the victims of a disastrous illusion--the illusion of our ability to
emancipate ourselves from natural laws. We have forgotten that nature never forgives.
In order to endure, society, as well as individuals, should conform to the laws of life.
We cannot erect a house without a knowledge of the law of gravity. "In order to be
commanded, nature must be obeyed," said Bacon. The essential needs of the human
being, the characteristics of his mind and organs, his relations with his environment, are
easily subjected to scientific observation. The jurisdiction of science extends to all
observable phenomena--the spiritual as well as the intellectual and the physiological.
Man in his entirety can be apprehended by the scientific method. But the science of man differs from all other sciences. It must be synthetic as well as analytic, since man is
simultaneously unity and multiplicity. This science alone is capable of giving birth to a
technique for the construction of society. In the future organization of the individual and
collective life of humanity, philosophical and social doctrines must give precedence to
the positive knowledge of ourselves. Science, for the first time in the history of the
world, brings to a tottering civilization the power to renovate itself and to continue its
ascension.

I have an interesting observation here. Two traders who consider themselves experts in Trading have similar way of communicating thoughts, similar thinking and writing pattern. They both post on ET, like birds and even make pictures of birds and paste those pictures in the forums. Hint: you don't need to Google to make a conclusion, simple logic will do.

What keeps me up tonight is trading since I do trade Far East Market

So, my argument with NY was about "Inspiration".

NY argues as above, and, how one must not blindly follow another person, no matter who that person is, and, true "ART" is more than just mimicking what others do.

I agree with the argument here. You can't learn by mimicking even in trading.

One need to do whatever it takes to become “The One” and just inspiration isn't enough. We all know that and this is OBVIOUS. However, the learning process or the way to become ‘The One” can be simplified or made more difficult and I can go all night long providing both examples.

So the real question here if your thread to simplify a process for those who eager to learn and gain some extra skills or one of those Gurus who can write books on trading without saying anything.

To get you straight to the point, so where will be no misunderstanding, all I'm asking what those 2 eyes see except for red and green bars with support and resistance lines looking at the monitor?

My next question is a little more difficult and it has to do with half of the brain. What half of the brain should do to experience reverse brain technology which eventually helps to make 2 - 5% on average daily. Hope You can answer both questions straight to the point as the question states it without asking to Google something or solve puzzles.

There are pressures around us all, especially when groing up, to follow and be like others, the ones who have been successful. We are also often pressured not to be different, in other words follow a set path, the one that was successful for someone else.

To be completely different and radical without any inpiration from others could lead to failure as we could be labeled as a crank and loose support.

So I think the best path is to be inspired and influenced by others, understand what has been done, BUT to innovate and find success along a different avenue.
