RBG passed

Impeaching the president and Barr will not stop the scotus nomination. It’s politics, plain and simple and the senate will simply dismiss both and quite frankly - rightly. Even if there is plenty to impeach both on the motive is to stop a scotus appointment and that sullies the whole thing.

Dems are at a disadvantage in the senate and through gerrymandering, the only way to correct that is to take both chambers and the presidency. No discussion needed here.

The Supreme Court is lost for democrats for a couple of decades. It’s awful for the country but it is what it is. That does not mean the legislative and executive branches are.

The Senate must take up articles of impeachment which are brought forth by the House which the Dems control. The whole cabinet is impeachable of malfeasance, no reason why nomination hearings must take priority over delayed justice.

The Dems also control the budget and the debt ceiling. They're choosing to lay down and lose.

So Mitt just went full raw dog anal on the Dems. He might as well start doing photo ops with Trump because the left will never, never ever forgive this. Looks this may be a rare case where I am wrong, :p, and they just might get the votes to ram this through. Still uncertain about the longer term consequences of sticking it to dems with this. I guess the thinking is we're way beyond the point of ever seeing any kumbaya moments between the parties, so it's a full on street fight from here on out.

I disagree, some us are fed up with the Dems willingness to get paid to lose, allowing the GOP to do irreparable damage to the country. The lines are drawn, what's the point of capitulating to risk the 5 swing voters with their head in the sand?

There's enough ammo to start impeachment of william Barr and follow it a half dozen times with Trump

Giddy-Up, Cowboy.

Let's go. Do it.

Indeed this is so.

Look for the small signs. I have not heard a single media person left or right even bother to calculate even the slightest possibility that a dem would cross over.

Contrast this with the days of when Ruthie was confirmed. Ruthie was well, well, known to be Che Gueveras sister yet she was confirmed bipartisanly in a vote of 97-3 or something excruciatingly close to that.

You can't even see that world from the world of Kavanaugh.

Those days are long gone. Ended when leftists threw out qualifications and focused solely on political ideology. There was a time where they'd have their little dog and pony show hearing, do the expected grandstanding for the base, and then accept the person as qualified for the job. No more. Qualifications are meaningless in the leftist world of we got a quota to fill.

“A compass, I learnt when I was surveying, it'll point you True North from where you are standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp, what's the use of knowing True North?”

“My liberal friends have over many decades gotten very used to the idea of having a liberal court, but that's not written in the stars,” the Utah Republican told reporters after this decision. He called it “appropriate for a nation that is … center-right to have a court which reflects center-right points of view.”

Just in.. Mitt not liberal.

They don't have to; Trump has it covered.

He downplayed the virus because he didn't want people to overreact. But the democrat zombies are coming for Real Americans in their suburbs...

I'm not sure I follow. Even if I were to agree with your argument that Trump's downplaying of the virus because he didn't want people to overreact was somehow related to fear and intimidation, how does this mean Democrats should be coming for real americans in the suburb...? I'm not understanding what argument or connection you are making.

Ah yes, the Dems while playing chess with the GOP, observe the norms, all the while their opponent's already moved on and set the building on fire.
