RBG passed

Religious imposition is already here. From symbolic BS like tax payer maintained 10 commandment monuments on federal buildings, to anti Israeli sabotage prohibitions, to child bride permitting on wing nut states, to tax payers' money going to private theocratic education.

We already have a state-sponsored religion.

It is called Secular Humanism.

Read my posts again. Better yet, read Ricter's and UsualNames posts twice more.
You guys have lost this one and the course of the country has been altered for the good for at least a generation. What's more is that Breyer may retire in Trump's second term and further this direction. Thyme for you to move on to something else. Thank you for your attention.

I hear ya. But the "so what" card is one that I would play later rather than sooner to stay peppy right before the election. I dont see any reason why they would need to short circuit anything. They can still take the high road and no one can stop them. So why not do that?

Then, yeah, when they just go round and round in circles at the end of the tidy little process by saying "Lindsey Graham said this" and "You said and did this about Merrick Garland" then "BOOM" play the card and just shut er down, done. Don't need their agreement on anything as long as the pubs have the votes.

Maybe that would go over like a turd in the punch bowl. That is, have hearings but not have them concluded before the election. Then have the Repubs say, "OK that's enough... no more hearings as the election is close at hand... we're taking a confirmation vote now".

Once they agree to have hearings, can the Repubs just "shut them off" at a politically convenient time ??

Now you are deliberately trying to piss the lefties off.

I APPROVE THAT MESSAGE.

The thing that I like about this court appointment scenario is that I consider the election to be a toss-up (not arguing it, just saying that is my state of mind) but I still very much want to see the liberals cry again. So, seeing Ruthie;s alleged seat go to a conservative will at least give me one more time to see them come unglued.

BUT, HEY, NOT TO WORRY. I AM DEFINITELY UP FOR SEEING THEM CRY OVER THE COURT APPOINTMENT AND THEN AGAIN IN NOVEMBER. TOO MUCH IS NOT ENOUGH.

I suspect that Bagoa will be the nominee this time as she has been recently vetted and it will be difficult for the Idiot Dems to block someone they just approved with 80 votes to the Appeals Court in 2019. Her nomination proceedings would go swiftly. Then when Breyer retires, Amy Coney Barrett would be installed bringing the total number of conservatives on the court to 4.

This is quite a picture - Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s former law clerks waiting in honor before she arrives at the Supreme Court one last time:

Makes you wonder about the level of inbreeding resulting in this outcome:
Enjoying watching all the people on the left fall over themselves to tell us what an amazing amazing amazing person RBG was. Just amazing. Amazing. Did anyone know how amazing she was?
