Ray Bitar and Bright Trading

Quote from Don Bright:

Hey Snoop and Oldtime - I'll just leave this to you (as per our PM Snoop), LOL.

Always curious as to where these people trade, if they trade at all.

Care to share? Care to compare business models, ethics, regulatory compliance?

"Mooks" really? Those who are willing to get licensed, risk some capital, and start their own business trading....? Our traders are some of the best and most solid individuals on the planet. Hardly online poker playing from the losing side. Most would either never play online, or be on the winning side.

Ah geez,

Don

i'll be happy to opine when you divulge your new focus for 2013. (i assumed the info you shared via pm was not for public viewing)

Hi Jackdog, what is your trading firm and how do you differ from Bright.

Quote from JackDogII:

Sequiturs are about one that follows the other.

One post says:

"Don,

this sounds good, i look forward to seeing what you guys have up your sleeves. please give us a preview so those of us that are serious can start the registration process (and be ready to trade jan 2nd)."

The Nest post says:

"See PM.

Don"

The definition of a shill is: A decoy who acts as an enthusiastic customer in order to stimulate the participation of others

While I don't know whether one is a shill for the other, they certainly seem to an outsider to fit the definition.

With all due respect to the board and its mods, it strikes me funny that a very mild post such as "Does this look like a shill to you guys" should be deleted by Mods.

Certainly I respect that members who pay as sponsors should receive special posting privelages - but there are many posts on this board calling posters all kinds of vile stuff and yet the mere quetstion of "is this shilling" gets a delete and a PM warning.

Is this board so fixed that the free exchange of opinions is so squashed?

I am a market professional with over 3 decades of experience. I am also a published author. While it is no secret that I am in comtempt of Don Bright and the way he operates his firm, I have been very careful in evey post to make sure that I made sure that what I was posting was seen as my opinion and my opinion only.

If it looks fishy, smells fishy then............

The last 2 traders and 1 of the programmers I took on came from one of these trading forums, I post on these boards for 2 reasons 1) to try and raise the discusiion above the level of the sameO, sameO and 2) to note either technical or trading talent for my firm.

I just don't understand, I never could learn enough and still to this day always want to learn more.

+1

That's probably the main reason I enjoy this industry.

Quote from Maverick74:

Don, in another life, you could have made a good drug dealer. :)

I am glad you know Mav far better than I, as I see a guy who has continually attacked you over the years here. Usually couched in happy faces or jokes, but he continues to attack you as far as I can tell. Of the various vendors here and elsewhere over the years I see Bright as pretty up front, yet abused by many. When I chose to attack a vendor I was, and have been told how wrong I was. I wonder if the "Mav" and his validity receives the same complaints?
