Dow down 1200+ points since last Friday...

They'll have it up and running in no time....the entire government is not completely shut down, just bits and pieces, about 800000 are not getting paid and out of that 800000 about half have to go to work without pay but don't feel sorry for them, they will get retroactive pay once the government opens back up for business!!!

All that I know is that I modified a working order with IB, it allowed me to mod the price even though the ticket was filled, hence filling one order, twice. I went into the close long 8K SPX deltas that I don't want.

When I modify a price with IB (for ES) I need to re-transmitt the order - if I don't hit the transmitt button the old working order is still active.

When the order is filled it deletes itself - though there is a delay. (I think one can modify the setting so it deletes itself more quickly). Is it that you modified the still showing filled order and hit the Transmitt button and it sent it as a new order?

Better make sure you keep your detailed log for the day. IB is not very nice in a fight.

If you get a double fill would you not instantly sell back to the level you want?

Nope, it showed as working. They removed the trade and credited me on the mark.
