Rate futures symbol names for IB TWS API

I can't figure out how to request rate futures api data....

"No security definition has been found for the request"

Can IB's symbol data info really be this bad?

For example: when trying to get the ultra bond rate symbol the IB symbol data says

UB MAR 20

and this doesn't work.

Does anybody know what to do? I am trying all kinds of variations. It is maddening to deal with terrible documentation for this API.

If that is ECBOT there are three spaces between the symbol and the contract month

UB<space><space><space>MAR 20
