People are fickle. Trump's approval rating was at an all time high less than 3 months ago. He still has time to shift sentiment back in his favor before the election. Watch the economy. This could be a really tight race if the economic recovery stays on track.

If Biden's lead in these "polls" is less than 10 percent , then he is behind.

There is an army of silent Trump voters out there and the savy analysts know it, especially democratic insiders. These people will never indicate they're voting for Trump, just don't need the bullshit. They'll remain "independent" or even say they're voting democratic all the way to the voting booth. This army grows with each passing week of lawlessness and anarchy spreading through the democratic run cities. Dems better get a handle on it, or have some answer for it, otherwise this becomes a single issue campaign that they cannot win.

Most likely Biden will pick a loser for VP nominee too.

I mean, Biden is so dull and has been off in his asylum cell for so long that he will generate a quick buzz of excitement if he picks any woman- white or black- who is standing, and can still take fluids. It will give dems and the press a new toy to play with for a couple weeks, max. After that, all the problems set in with the person he picks.

That's a long way of saying he better have more than just a few percentage points ahead going for him. The lefty view right now is that the vp will be extra-important because Joe is already dysfunctional so the vp nominee can move the needle quite a bit- but that works both ways doesn't it? Lots of people thinking that they might be able to hack having Joe in there if the vp candidate is zippy, then he choses Val Deming or Pocahonky. Substitute any of the others currently being considered, to the extent that we know.
