Lockbit is not Russia but from Netherlands. A civil engineering firm I dealt in Maine with got locked during the pandemic and had to wipe the computers, much data lost.

It is commercial software, not state sponsored hack. Now they are making enemies with the treasury settlement system, I bet they become high priority target of cyber crimes. Could happen to other banks.
