Actually, you could say that about Ron Paul and just about any republican officeholder or party official, which may explain the problems the republicans are having.

That's an interesting observation.

I like to think of the political spectrum as a nearly straight line starting at the extreme liberal left and socialist believers on the left side moving through the democrats, to the moderates to the republicans to the hard right conservative strict religious believers at the far right.

But I see libertarianism and Ron Paul as not fitting so much on my straight line but like a branch that swings down (or up) at an angle from the straight line. They just don't fit at a particular place on my straight line from liberal to conservative.

There are probably others that don't fit well trying to put them on that line either. They're like little offshoots that make categorizing and understanding them that much more complicated.

While I don't resonate with the far Right, I positively HATE/FEAR the Entitlement/Leftist/Socialist/Communist agenda of Odumbo, Pelosi, Reid, Hillary.

Heh...I AM in the middle on a lot of views. Most of the reason I don't post on a lot of the threads is because I could go either way. I just read and shrug.

If this list was just based on fiscal conservatism, I'd be off the page on the bottom. But it's social views as well, and I am a social liberal in most cases.

You guys can make your own lists if you don't agree with mine!

I see you as a libertarian more than anything. You don't like the system telling you how you should be or what you should do, but you don't go out of your way to tell others what they should do either.

Maybe because I have him on ignore, I don't see much of his stuff. I also have AK 47 on ignore and Free Thinker (both bozos, if you ask me) but I've seen enough of their posts to know where they stand.
