Range Controlled Geometry

Seems Geometry went out of control. Why don`t try Algebra instead?

"Range Controlled Geometry" "asset allocation algorithms", obviously someone was desperate to sound like he knows what he's doing, despite all evidence to the contrary.

I will say it again. I make money every day. The details will be disclosed at the end of the month.

It's past the end of the month. I posted starting and ending equity along with trade stats from the Combine I did and you didn't. PT posted his starting and end of month equity.

Where is yours?

This journal will will show the entries, and exits of RCG. I trade spot fx.

The instrument I will be using is the CHFJPY until it falls off my list.

I have both a mean reverting as well as a trending strategy. This journal will chronicle the more risky of the two, the trending strategy.

Trade analysis will begin on 12/1/12.

Quote from RCG Trader:

My starting account is one dollar, for those of you who are obsessed with account sizes instead of making money.

Finally price has broken thru and stayed below the levels I have set as consolidation.

I am short chfjpy at half my max position size at 88.321. Stop loss will be determined on a day by day basis based on asset allocation algorithms.

I will keep appraised daily.

Quote from RCG Trader:

My statements were clear on the initial post. These strategies are separate ways to manage money.

I will chronicle one of these, which will more than satisfy the challenge, you will find.

Quote from RCG Trader:

This is a journal about entries, exits, and M/M percent gain. It is not about what is in who's balance. Trading is about process. If the process is correct, the outcome will take care of itself.

Of course it is. A monthly statement will be posted at the end of the month will all the details needed.:)

Quote from RCG Trader:

Gains and losses for this month. Maybe, if I stay on, I will get into the system itself. This is just one aspect of it on display here.

Quote from RCG Trader:

I shut this position at 89.76. Because another poster has stated that he will only put up numbers at the end of the month, henceforth, I will also only put up end of month blotters.

I can see that usual suspect have a keen interest in what I am doing, hoping to learn how to trade.

Phoenix has not posted any details to his journal. So neither will I. What I will do is give some those of you who have been on here for many years a template to get started when I get back on the New Year by posting trades that I do not mind being reverse engineered.

So hang in there fellas, help is on the way.:D

Happy New Year!

You have yet to post a screen shot of 1)starting equity, 2)any semblance of trade performance, 3) anything that even remotely proves you "make money every day".

Given the fancy thread title I guess I expected to see something technical here. Other journals in this forum seem to be very clear about techniques employed and specific trades so far as entries and exits. Some of the authors show a daily or monthly P&L and offer some charts with the trades depicted.

If you're going to claim to use a geometric technique don't you need to show what you mean on a chart? This journal seems a bit light on content. What is the point? What is "range controlled geometry"? Why aren't the individual trades explained?

The OP had better hang onto his day job and consider just putting his money into a simple savings account or maybe some T- bills because so far his "journal" entries aren't documenting his trades adequately enough to be able to analyze them so that he can improve his trading or risk management. A journal is supposed to capture enough detail that it enables some analysis and adjustment of the method employed so that the trader can either impart knowledge to others or realize some improvement to increase profit. The OP seems more interested in impressing others with a contrived technical title which is totally unsupported by the journal content.

I run this journal the way I want to.

Don't like it, don't read it.
Exactly what you're hoping for no doubt.
