Quote from BSAM:

Please be advised that walking in the park is a good thing.

I take the 95 year-old out every day for a walk at the park.

We don't get very far, shorter and shorter over the years. But she has a bad hip replacement and is a trooper to do what she does.

We often see our "park friends." We don't know their names, but we know the names of their dogs. We'll stop and chat. It's very nice.

One dog is "Kobe." Yes, named after the basketball player. Very clever name, because Kobe is a tiny white dog.

Kobe loves us and goes ape over grandma. We love seeing him. His people told us that every time he sees a lady with a cane in the park, he gets excited because he thinks it's grandma.

I go on a second walk, longer, around the park; after we get done with our first walk. If I see Kobe on the second walk, he looks around. He's looking for grandma.

There's hardly anything as joyous, as seeing our little white friend, straining at his leash; to come and say hi to us.
