Being a daily summary based upon my reading of the Wall Street Journal from the corresponding day in 1930.
"Editorial: Issue behind the food relief bill is much more than short-lived politics; at stake is question of "establishing the dole as an American institution." All agree suffering should be relieved; question is whether to start down the "steep descent through successive and uncontrollable appropriations from the public purse for the temporary benefit of one after another group ... " It's now up to those opposed to the dole to contribute heavily to the Red Cross and avoid that national dishonor."

History will prove Ben Bernanke a great patriot and hero. (He might not even be aware of my theory but I'll reserve a future email for his reading pleasure).
You see, we all think he is dealing with a financial crisis. Yes on the surface it appears that way. QE and ZIRP.
The financial crisis exposed many roaches and indubitably we dealt with them differently n'est pas? With his monetary policies in place TPTB are conducting business as usual. Money is the light and the roaches don't even run when the light comes on. Lots and lots of money and lots and lots of light and we are begining to see more and more roaches.
The roaches are piling up, the power and money at stake vs Benghazi, the IRS in Cincinati, Bloomberg data, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius vs the FDA the list is growing.
You go Ben, keep printing that money..it's a roach trap.
