Apartment thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Laundry folded and put away. Errands run. Time to pour the wine, update my market diary and enjoy this Friday night.

Happiness is a clean apartment and a glass of wine.....

Quote from BSAM:

Though April showers...
She still stinks.

I told that joke to my 95 year-old, and she started singing:

Though April showers may come your way
They bring the flowers that bloom in May

She can remember things from 70 years ago, but not one hour ago. It's cool, we just laugh about it.

I've always got a kick out of old folks.
Glad I could contribute to a bit of fun.

Short story....:D

My grandson needs a theme song. He's a Michael, like me. So I sat him on my lap in my office and played this song for him every time he was over. When I drove him home, he'd be sitting in his car seat and I would play this, clap at the begining and sing "Check this out now" "Hey Michael Come on and sing, I got the world on a string."

Now he is three years old.

Tonight I'm driving him home, play this song like I always do and yuppers you got it. He says "Check this out, hey michael come on and sing" lmao..Me and my daughter are like wtf? did he just sing this? I started it over and sure enough he's trying the whole song but hasn't got all the words so he's making a bunch of noise to rest of the song but he's got the first part.

It's easy to brain wash children:D

One requirement that I had was that they had to like the Beatles. They had to at least pretend to like them, or they weren't my child.

Of course, we did have the talk that we can like their music, but that doesn't mean that we have to be like them.

They could get in to any of the crappy music that they wanted besides that. And they did.

Reminds me of the New York City cop at Shea, I believe, who said about the Beatles,"dey da woist, dey stink." It's a generational thing.

But if any of the youngsters play or even talk about Rap, they risk getting a dirty look. They'd better not try that around here.

I have a nephew who's in a Death Metal band. I'm not even close to understanding that.

Since your a Beatles fan I thought I'd post this for ya. Not sure if you've seen this. I met this guy didn't even know he had you tube video's. (I think he was wearing the same clothes {:>))
