End of the world. You can take that literally or figuratvely. We all face the end of the world. It's something that's easier to ignore than face head on. It could happen sooner than we think, "like a thief in the night." 70 is pretty young these days.

I asked my daughter how school was yesterday. Here's a recap.

My daughter 11th grade history class. Todays lesson. History of Wall Street.

The teacher said, "I don't expect any of you to know anything about WS".

Pretty said statement Imo.

"Does anyone know anything about WS?"

My daughter waited for anyone to respond. No one did. Then she proceeded to explain what a share of stock was.

lmao.. you go girl.

Then the teacher asked if anyone heard of Goldman Sachs.

She raises her hand. lmao.....:D

The teacher asked her how she knew these things. She said "My dad taught me, he knows everything".

Then they watch some stupid cartoon video on you tube about the financial crisis.

----------------------------

We watched the video at home and I explained the pro's and cons of the video according to nutmeg.

No, I don't want a medal. Just sayin....she likes stuff, I just tell her what she has to do to earn it, what it's going to take, etc.

Once in a while raising kids, they shine. Makes me proud she at least remembers what we talk about at home.

Nice. In the old days kids got interested in Wall Street by seeing the stock tables in newspapers. Now that newspapers don't print them anymore I wonder what it is out there that would spark a young person's interest in the market these days.

Not me.
I was swept up in a tornado last night.
I landed here in the Emerald city.
I'm here with Dorothy, Toto, and the whole crew.

Okay..one more story on 11 th grade history. Today was goof off day, trivial pursuit history.

And..the questiion is:

What VP candidate couldn't spell potato?

Before anyone could answer some girl shouts out, "What so hard about spelling potato, anyone can spell it"

So the class yells back at her and says, "you spell it".

:D :D :D

P-A-T-O...everyone is laughing... she stops spelling.
