The mythological legend of Medusa, whose looks could turn men to stone, may have spawned the term "looks that could kill".
 
Both of my daughters student loans, , the IRS snagged their income tax refunds this year and applied it to the loan balance. Never did that before.


One daughters boyfriend, they denied his college living expense this semster because of 2011 tax refund issue from last year.

No notice they just took it....very unusual....

Looks like the Fed is cross checking student loans with tax refunds and cleaning up the books..
