"It was up to me now! After the hours of sweat and practice; the weeks of training; the centuries of war, plague and famine: It all came down to this one pitch" -Earthworm Jim

Full Metal Jacket quote:

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: It looks to me like the best part of you ran down the crack of your mama's ass and ended up as a brown stain on the mattress.

I'm now going to name five beautiful places in the United States:

San Diego, California

San Francisco, California

Yosemite National Park, California

Red River, New Mexico

Durango, Colorado (area)

Don't any of you even try to top this, because you can't.

Tonight it's all about the Mavericks and the Thunder.

Ladies and gentlemen......Let's get ready to ruuumble!

I'm calling a win for OKC tonight. If OKC loses tonight, it's going to look pretty dim for them.

Kinda amazing how these NBA players are reading and responding to posts here on ET.

OKC 106 Dallas 100

Ok, so I tried another bottle today (the other one went down the sink) and while it is slightly better, it is still pretty flat. The first bottle was completely devoid of carbonic acid, the second had just a tad. I do not have many vices, but I do like to consume a moderate amount of Coca Cola every day. Now I fear that the whole 6-pack in my fridge is "bad", I will continue to report as I make my way through the remaining four bottles.

Fingers crossed!

Two for two. I hope you put some money on your premonitions?

Btw, your list seems heavily tilted towards California?

I have not (yet) been to San Diego, so I can't comment on that. But I spent 07-10 travelling the world and I must say that SF is probably my favorite city. As far as the most beautiful place, I would have to say Hawaii. Absolutely stunning! And, in contrast to Australia, you do not constantly have be on the lookout for spiders, snakes, wallabies and what not.

It's just observation and probabilities, if you know what I mean.

California is spectacular. It's a shame what the thugs in Sacramento (the capital of California) have done to destroy such a great place!

Spend a few days around San Diego. You won't regret it.

Hawaii is good, but so isolated.
