Nope. Oatmeal gives me horrible gas. If I combine raw egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast, I am a WMD.
My broker called today to tell me that my margin requirement is being raised from 30% to 40%. I'll probably get a margin call Monday morning. Apparently I'm not executing enough trades. I'm actually up for the year so far, and up quite a bit from my December nadir. He told me I'm the oldest account in his office (I've had that account since 1996).
Last year they called me right after I had a string of big losses, trying to sell me financial adviser services. They probably 'guilt' people on a losing streak in to buying it, but I told them no thanks. And I bounced back pretty well - in effect "I showed 'em!" I still feel like a loser, though. I should be doing so much better than I am with all of my years of experience. It isn't good enough to say, "I'm up for the year," I should have created significant wealth by now. No shit, I'm having chest pains just thinking about it.
