Every one of you in the politics and religion forum would enjoy and benefit from reading Daniel Patrick Moynihan's book "Secrecy". I can't recommend it too highly. It is a real eye opener.

I'll have to check it out. Here's a couple books you might enjoy, as well. Real eye openers in their own right. Especially since the words within are coming to pass.

Why all this spying on USA citizens?
How many times has it been said that if we change our way of life in the USA, then it means that the terrorists have won?

Of course, I am in favor of some common sense and transparent steps, but I am not in favor of government tyranny run by the NSA, CIA, FBI, IRS, the Attorney General, and the President.

Oh, and let's not forget our government "friends" at Homeland Security/Border Patrol: Are you a USA citizen? Where have you been? Where are you going?

I am free to travel inside the borders of the USA without detainment, questioning, observation, or any type of harassment.

Only exemption: USA military.
