He is not liked in his own neighborhood only because he starts shit with his neighbors that have lived there longer than him.

One day his next-door neighbor became tired of his crap...Paul started some crap and the neighbor jumped him outside, on Paul's property (I think the front yard), and beat his ass...

The neighbor did some sort of martial arts or MMA moves on Paul. ​

Paul has not fucked with him since the beat down because the neighbor is back home after serving time in prison for beating Paul. It must be a very uncomfortable situation to live next door to someone that beat your ass, you then send him to prison...neighbor is now out of prison and waiting patiently for Paul to fuck up again.

Paul and the neighbor are not the types to move away from each other to a different street or city. Two stubborn Kentuckians waiting for shit to happen again. Yet, ever since their fight...

Paul has been on great behavior with the entire neighborhood in comparison to his past issues with neighbors who maintained their yard differently from Paul.
